**Opportunity**

First Truck Centre, doing business as Velocity Truck Centres, has an exciting opening for a **Shipper / Receiver** at our Surrey BC. branch. The Shipper / Receiver will contribute in one of Canada's best managed companies. Be a part of a team that takes trucking to the next level of quality and professionalism.

The Shipper/ Receiver will maintain a clean and well manicured warehouse and document inventory that both comes in and out of the branch. We believe in TRAINING our employees and PROMOTING from within the organization, creating a culture that believes in fostering a better tomorrow.

**Compensation Plan**
- Competitive base wage $21.03/ hour.
- Shift premiums ( depends on shift) and overtime pay
- Paid Vacation

- Employer-paid technical training as required

**Primary Job Functions**
- Shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory of products incoming and outgoing from the warehouse.
- Maintains the warehouse in a clean and orderly condition.
- Participate in inventory counts.
- Attend all training sessions to update technical knowledge.
- Drive company vehicle to receive and deliver parts when required.
- Proven record of following safety procedures, provincial/federal legislation, and company policies.

**Qualifications**
- 1 year experience in shipping / receiving.
- Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
- Excellent Computer skills to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work that may be required.
- Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
- Hold and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).
