We are a **growing** Design, Engineering & Manufacturing company based in South Surrey with clients across North America. Our 40-person team manufactures everything from one-off custom products for the entertainment industry; to high volume products for a specific customer, to in-house products and systems, and sells them through a variety of distribution channels to multiple markets and customer segments.

**OVERVIEW**:
The Shipper / Receiver plays a key role in the daily operations of our manufacturing facility by ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient movement of materials and finished goods. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, coordinating with logistics, and supporting the shop floor with material handling. This is a hands-on, full-time, Monday to Friday role based at our Langley facility.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receive inbound shipments and verify materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Load outbound shipments using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe and secure packaging
- Package shipments for domestic and cross-border delivery, ensuring all products will be shipped safely and securely
- Stage materials for production and move goods between workstations as needed
- Match products to orders and ensure shipment accuracy and completeness
- Track and document all incoming and outgoing materials in the company’s MRP/ERP system
- Support inventory control by maintaining accurate stock locations and assisting with cycle counts
- Communicate with logistics personnel and external carriers to ensure smooth delivery and pickup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area
- Assist with general shop duties when not actively receiving materials or shipping finished goods, including material prep and support for production teams
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and handling protocols

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 2+ years’ experience in a shipping/receiving role in a manufacturing environment
- Valid forklift certification (counterbalance and/or reach)
- Experience with domestic freight and basic understanding of cross-border shipment requirements
- Proficiency with data entry, inventory systems, and basic office software (e.g., Outlook, Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately
- Physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and working on your feet throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a production team
- WHMIS, TDG, and First Aid certifications are considered assets

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
