**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide close protection to the individual. Maintain vigilant and being ready to intervene in situations as required.
- Identify potential threats, conducting security sweeps of locations, and implementing security measures to mitigate risks.
- Stay alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and ensuring the safety of the VIP during incidents.
- Enforcing access control measures to ensure that only authorized personnel enter restricted area.
- Monitoring surroundings for suspicious activity.
- Continuously gathering and analyzing intelligence to stay ahead of potential threats, collaborating with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
- Acting with discretion and always maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Maintaining detailed records of incidents, potential threats, and security measures taken.
- Able to de-escalate situations when needed verbally.

**Requirements**:

- Has a valid security guard license, clear criminal record, valid standard first aid training and valid smart serve.
- Min. one year of experience and knowledge of private security and investigative service act,2005 & criminal codes.
- must be able to train and complete mandatory courses.
- required to stand 8-12 hours at one location.
- advanced tactical emergency medical skills can be an asset.
- able to effectively plan for crucial VIP protection.
- working with event staff, law enforcement and other security personnel to ensure the safety and security of the event.
- defensive tactics, combative and martial arts skills are valuable.

**Selection Process**:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
