**CNC Boring Mill Operator**

Wage range: $33.00 - 38.00

Shift available: Days, 6:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Friday

Weldco-Beales Manufacturing designs and manufactures specialized heavy equipment attachments for the construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, road maintenance** **and resource industries throughout Canada, the USA and internationally. Weldco-Beales is currently recruiting a **CNC Boring Mill Operator** for the **Barrie** manufacturing team. This position will report to the **General Foreman**.

What you will do:

- Study specifications, charts, drawings or sample parts to determine the machining operation to be performed
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Check parts for defects
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances, and prepare working sketches if necessary
- Write and Edit Fanuc software
- Maintain and repair equipment as required
- Maintain a clean orderly and safe work environment at all times

Your qualifications:

- A minimum of 5 years of related experience
- A minimum of 3 years programming CNC machines using G codes is necessary
- Experience using CAD/CAM software is an asset
- Experience using Fanuc is an asset

- The ability to measure sizes and distances accurately
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 kg
- Advanced knowledge of general safety practices
