- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Produce finished deli meats from raw beef, pork, or poultry
- Assist customers with their deli orders, providing recommendations and answering any questions they may have
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Monitor product quality and freshness, rotating stock as necessary
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient stocking of the deli department

- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
