Chapman Auto Body is seeking an experienced Autobody Estimator/Appraiser with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the automotive industry to join our fast-growing, dynamic team. We have locations in Halifax, Dartmouth, and Bedford.

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Accept insurance assignments and book repair appointments
- Use provided software (Mitchell, Audatex) to prepare thorough and accurate estimates and communicate the information to all stakeholders
- Accurately input and consistently update information for each estimate
- Provide clients with information using empathy and patience
- Coordinate with technicians and CSR as needed to meet deadlines
- Attend professional development seminars as required
- Learn and follow all industry and shop safety standards
- Stay apprised of current insurance provider guidelines
- Possess a valid driver’s license and abstract.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Detail-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Service-driven with a positive attitude
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Audatex and Mitchell estimating software is an asset
- Experience with ProgiSync would be beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
