**Inventory/Storeroom Associate Specialist**

Toyotetsu Canada Inc. (TTCA) is a Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier to Toyota Manufacturing Facilities located in the heart of Norfolk County (Simcoe, ON). We utilize state of the art technology to ensure our automotive parts are assembled with a high degree of quality.

TTCA has an opening for an Associate Specialist in our Inventory/Purchasing (I/P) department. This position reports directly to the Purchasing Assistant Manager. This position rotates on 2 shifts every 2 weeks (Days: 6am - 2:30pm; Evenings 6pm - 2:30am)

**Job Summary**:
The IP Associate Specialist works within the purchasing department to perform inventory tasks in the TTCA Storeroom. The person requires strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy along with being able to work with mínimal supervision to complete required activities.

**Responsibilities include, but not limited to**:

- Operate storeroom during open hours
- Perform Storeroom and Die Maintenance cycle counts
- Receiving process - Pick up receiving and deliver to stores, open packages, verify, report discrepancies, receive items in system & put parts away
- Provide support to Storeroom/DM re-order process
- Enter inventory clipboard/manual transactions
- Communicate and work with external vendors
- Perform Storeroom 5S
- Other duties as assigned

**Key skills and Characteristics**:

- Excellent computer skills - Excel/ AS400 / Scanner
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Education/Experience Desired**:

- Grade 12 Diploma
- Inventory/Storeroom Control or related experience.
- Purchasing experience an asset

Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
