In this role, you will report to the VP of Quality and Technical Services and will champion all aspects of the company’s Field Service operations. Working closely with Sales and Quality, you will facilitate machine sales, ensure their successful installation/servicing, and cultivate customer relationships.

This position involves up to 30% travel within North America.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Providing direction to the Field Service team, ensuring the achievement of departmental objectives and exceeding customer expectations
- Monitoring customer requirements, deploying technicians and providing technical support
- Travelling throughout North America to customer sites, business prospects and trade shows
- Liaising with customers to design machines according to their operational needs
- Reinforcing existing customer relationships as well as generating new business opportunities
- Developing customer quotations in collaboration with Sales and Head Office

**Skills and Knowledge required**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a Field Service team in a technical environment
- Working knowledge of machinery, electrical and general mechanics
- A clean driving record and no restriction on renting vehicles
- Ability to travel throughout North America and, occasionally, Europe: 10% - 30% of the time and on occasion on short notice for emergencies
