**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
Inputs numeric data and operational data into a computer system for plant production activities.
Operates controls for loading trucks with material.
Continuous monitoring of plant equipment and working in constant contact with the other personnel regarding operation and maintenance of equipment.
Manage the production of the pugmill including the treatment mix required and monitoring the finished product
Monitors material moisture, consistency and quality.
Keep track of reagent usage such as cement and fly ash. Order truckloads of reagents multiple times per day to ensure there is sufficient material on hand for plant operation.
Participates as a crewmember in daily production operations and assists in plant preventive maintenance as assigned.
Reports mechanical failures, and/or material inconsistencies to supervisor.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
One year of experience in plant production and/or operations considered an asset.
Must have transport to/from worksite
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly
Knowledge of safety hazards and necessary safety precautions for self and others sufficient to be able to establish a safe work environment.
General knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures sufficient to be able to assist in maintaining programs for preventive maintenance.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees.
