**Job Summary**: Financial Business Partner to both the finance and operational team, providing analysis for decision making.

**Required Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration or economics
- CPA designation would be considered an asset but not required.
- Strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral
- Highly competent in the use of the MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio)
- VBA programming is an asset
- Self-confidence, critical thinking, ability to influence, ability to work independently and willingness to work extended hours (if necessary)
- High level of time management and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have a good knowledge of the English language
- Knowledge of Customer Specific Requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949

**Essential Functions**:

- Analyze results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions
- Compare monthly budgets and forecasts with actual results
- Monitor and update standard costs, analyze PPV, reconcile inventory (book to perpetual)
- Oversee project finances in tooling and capital projects, with PM to ensure projects remain within budget and report to corporate monthly on status
- Audit & review monthly financial information to ensure reasonability
- Review and summarize capital requests, including assessing the overall business case of capital purchases
- Analyze opportunities and build models to support business decisions
- Plan, coordinate and execute various ad hoc queries and reports used by all management levels in development of key strategy and operational decision making
- Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

**Language Skills**:

- Ability to read, analyse, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles of publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

**Mathematical Skills**:

- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of planes and solid geometry and trigonometry.

**Reasoning Ability**:

- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

**Work Environment**:
95% Office Environment, 5% Plant Floor (PPE required)
