The Opportunity
We are hiring a permanent full-time Collision Estimator to join our team.
Please note: This position includes a mandatory 2-week probationary period. During this trial period, training will be provided. If performance and ability meet expectations, you will be offered a full-time paid position immediately after the 2 weeks. If expectations are not met, employment will not continue.
Your Responsibilities
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and prepare detailed estimates
- Identify hidden damage and update supplements as required
- Follow insurer and OEM repair procedures to ensure compliance and quality
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding damage, timelines, and the repair process
- Keep all estimates, files, and shop management systems accurate and up to date
- Verify and source parts correctly, keeping repair costs efficient
- Work with technicians, insurers, and vendors to keep repairs moving smoothly
- Perform final quality checks before vehicle delivery
- Submit invoices, supplements, and supporting documents on time
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a Collision Estimator
- Proficiency with Mitchell Connect and/or Audatex
- Knowledge of DRP insurance guidelines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files at once
- Hands-on experience ordering parts for all vehicle makes, with knowledge of dealership vendors and aftermarket suppliers
- Experience with estimating/parts systems (Body Shop Connect, Collision Link, PartsBridge, Progi, CarpartPro, APU) is an asset
- Familiarity with Tesla EPC, Repair Logic, or Repair Stack is a plus
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
- I-CAR or OEM-specific training (asset)
Work Environment
- Body shop setting with exposure to chemicals, fumes, dirt, and varying temperatures
