We are responsible for the delivery of organized estimates, budgets, and schedules and ensure the necessary systems and procedures are implemented to manage SNC’s risk.

**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Contribute to, or lead (as appropriate) the estimating effort on various bids. Will include civil, rail and building disciplines.
- Pricing activities into the estimating program.
- Preparation of procurement packages, reviewing responses and assisting with updating of estimate.
- Taking off quantities from bid drawings.
- Reviewing specifications to identify scope.
- Coordinating with other functions, and other SNC Group estimators as necessary to support the estimating process.
- Communicate with sub-trades.
- Assist in reviewing documents for proposals to enable complete estimate preparation.
- Organize and obtain appropriate bonding and insurance requirements on estimates.
- Contribute to the risk assessment and management process.
- Assist proposals managers with collation and presentation of documents and reports for review and close-out process.
- Participate in bid management meetings and estimate reviews.
- Administration of document management for bids.

**What will you contribute?**
- Relevant educational qualification with a minimum of 6 years previous experience in estimating.
- Minimum six months construction site experience essential; opportunities will be provided to gain further experience.
- Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and construction costs.
- Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.
- Computer literate - working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
- Broad knowledge of scheduling and general requirements of construction projects.
- Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptability to respond to change.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule.
