**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Oversee the preparation of shipments (receive, pick, pack, ship)

Meet operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.

Drive compliance with safety, quality and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.

Prepare and monitor team objectives for the shift

Responsible for overseeing the execution of department work tasks to ensure target metrics and SLAs are met (pick, pack, ship, receive, etc.)

Collect and report data to customers and management

Supervise unionized warehouse employees, responsible for scheduling and task allocation

Manage the Health & Safety Committee

Other duties as assigned by Leadership

**Requirements**:

- Clean criminal record.
- Minimum 2 years of SDCB Forklift experience, certification **required**:

- Must have own reliable transportation (transit not available during shift time)
- Post secondary degree or diploma
- Five years supervisory experience in a warehouse, DC, or transportation company
- Current Level 1 First Aid
- Familiarity using a Warehouse Management System
- Ability to multi-task and trouble shoot
- Proactive and takes initiative.
- Able to successfully meet KPIs and improve cost efficiency
- Mid-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Great interpersonal skills and a great leader
- Self-directing, motivated, and passionate
- Ability to set goals and create accountability. Lead by example.
- Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
- Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal

Shift is Monday thru Friday, 0030 to 0900 including most STAT Holidays

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
