The Server is responsible for greeting, taking orders from, and delivering meals to our guests. Our Servers aim to create an amazing customer experience by making sure each guest is treated attentively and pleasantly. Servers must do their best to make our guests experience amazing from the time they arrive to the time they depart.

**Responsibilities for this role include**:

- Creating a positive guest experience through knowledge of products, services, and interaction with guests
- Building and maintaining professional guest relations
- Being knowledgeable in steps of service
- Being knowledgeable in food and beverage products with the ability to upsell and recommend products to guests
- Assisting with the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- Graciously handling all guest concerns in a timely manner, alerting the Manager and involving them when necessary
- Supporting team members by running food & drinks, clearing tables, and taking payments
- Stocking inventory as required, let Management know of items running low or out
- Following all legislative requirements and internal standards, policies, and procedures while upholding the company’s core values
- Other relevant and related duties as assigned

**The “must haves”**:

- A passion for the tourism industry
- Required certifications to responsibly serve alcohol (based on your province)
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry
- Extensive food, wine, and liquor knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
- Great organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Confident in striking up conversation and connecting with guests in a positive and upbeat manner
- Accurate cash handling
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

**The “nice to haves”**:

- Valid certification in First Aid
- At least 1 year of serving experience
