Mobile Cleaner

**Who We Are**

**Job Summary**: Perform the housekeeping of various telecommunications sites in the Quebec region, extending from Trois-Rivières to the west, St-Jean-Port-Joli to the east and St-Georges to the south.

**Key Responsibilities**:Functioning as a core member of the operational team and reporting to the Manager/ Supervisor the Mobile Cleaner will:

- Ensure cleanliness outside such as picking up trash on the ground, removing cobwebs on the facade, sweeping the balcony.
- Sweep or vacuum the carpet and the floor, wash it with a wet mop.
- Empty the trash.
- Dust or rag clean surfaces, desks, doors, etc.
- Clean the bathroom if there is one, disinfect sinks and toilets, etc.
- Ensure supplies.
- Change lights when needed.
- Perform floor stripping or polishing work, carpet cleaning, spring cleaning.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the sites by respecting the established frequencies.
- Execute runs in an orderly way to avoid unnecessary runs.
- Provide service during occasional work orders.
- Deliver supplies to sites where other employees are based.
- Could be asked to do a one-week run on the Côte-Nord, maximum twice a year.
- **_Depending on whether the position comes with supervisory responsibilities: _**:

- Ensure the cleanliness of the sites assigned to other employees by inspecting and following up with the manager.
- Carry out certain follow-ups with employees.
- Perform employee training.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience in performing various cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance activities in an institutionalized environment.
- Experience in using floor maintenance machines, cleaning equipment, materials and solutions.
- Ability to lift, push and pull heavy items as well as climb ladders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, clients and the general public.
- Ability and willingness to work weekends, holidays and shifts as assigned as well as work in multiple locations.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, prepare and maintain manual and electronic records.
