**Customer Category Analyst**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the assigned day-to-day analysis and admin functions, while reporting into Reinhart Director of Sales
- Across retail, foodservice and industrial channels
- A strategic business partner who brings fresh ideas to the company and its customers
- Fact-based category management approach to uncovering business insights, opportunities and solving challenges while utilizing customer information and report delivery systems. Using internal and external sources, present actionable information and insights to team members.
- Assist with customer business reviews to recommend opportunities that drive profitable growth
- Competitive drive to win and grow the business
- Team player that engages with all facets of the business to ensure all stakeholders are satisfied along with customers
- Is detail oriented and understands administrative responsibilities are critically important for accurate data and to meet customer expectations
- Ability to engage with customers, account management experience an asset
- On occasion, may accompany sales directors on external meetings with major accounts or attend retail local tradeshows.
- Mobility to walk, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Flexible work schedule

**Qualifications**:

- University degree an asset
- Marketing/Business Degree
- Current working knowledge of key retailer reporting systems and portals an asset
- Excellent time management, planning, negotiation skills, organizational skills and financial management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be persuasive and handle conflict
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective oral/written communication
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is essential
