As a GIS Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in our R&D efforts. You'll combine your advanced geospatial expertise with development skills to lead groundbreaking projects and drive cutting-edge innovations. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll harness the latest GIS technologies, cloud platforms, and database systems to tackle complex spatial challenges. **Key Responsibilities**
- **Data Management & Infrastructure**: Maintain Enterprise GIS data integrity and enhance data custodianship, including metadata management, storage, and visibility. Ensure seamless integration of GIS data with cloud infrastructure, enabling robust data management and accessibility. Optimize data workflows and storage solutions for large-scale geospatial projects.
- **Innovation & Collaboration**: Innovate with ArcGIS Enterprise Architecture, developing datasets, maps, and apps for diverse uses. Collaborate with R&D team members to conceptualize and execute innovative geospatial projects. Consult across departments to implement integrated data workflows.
- **Communication & Continuous Improvement**: Utilize cutting-edge GIS software for data visualization and analysis. Communicate findings and insights through compelling visualizations and reports. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

**What We're Looking For**
- **Education**: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- **Technical Skills**: High proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial database management systems (e.g., PostgreSQL/PostGIS). Strong programming skills (Python, LISP, Arcade) with experience in API development and integration. Experience with advanced techniques in Model Builder. Experience with AutoCAD design.
- **Database Proficiency**: Proficiency with database structures, utilizing SQL for data management.
- **Data Management**: Proven ability to integrate and manage large datasets across diverse platforms. Design and implement cloud-based geospatial solutions, leveraging platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- **Automation**: Experience in automating data processing and analysis tasks, both locally and in cloud environments.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Other Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to innovation. Demonstrated ability to manage technical deliverables on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
