**Role description**:
Arcadis is seeking a GIS Analyst to join the Canada team. As a GIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality geospatial solutions for projects that positively impact natural and built environments. Working with our broadband team, you will support design and asset management projects with technical expertise and data analysis. From managing specialist components to coordinating workflows across digital technologies, you will help ensure projects meet financial, quality, and timeframe objectives while exceeding client expectations. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to innovative solutions that help shape sustainable outcomes.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing spatial data, preparing maps and exhibits, and supporting the integration of GIS technologies and solutions into project deliverables. With your expertise, you will also help guide junior team members, ensuring technical excellence and fostering professional growth within the team.

**Role accountabilities**:
As a GIS Analyst, your role accountabilities will include:

- Gathering, converting, and analyzing spatial data using GIS and other geospatial technologies.
- Preparing data documentation or metadata for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with national standards.
- Analysis of complex data across multiple formats, including cross analysis between database systems
- Supporting project workflows by preparing maps, exhibits, and other deliverables using GIS and digital tools.
- Supporting project deliverables by creating and supporting dashboard and data visualization solutions.
- Monitoring quality control of project outputs and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Engage in analyzing client needs to customize broadband geospatial, operational, and support solutions, ensuring they are tailored to meet specific project requirements.
- Managing assigned specialist tasks or components of larger projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality, financial, and time objectives.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions, ensuring the integrity of overall data, designs and systems.
- Developing effective working relationships with stakeholders, including software vendors, project managers, design teams and clients.
- Providing technical guidance to various team members, supporting project and solution goals and deliverables
- Staying up to date with advancements in GIS technology, applicable systems and digital workflow tools to maintain technical proficiency and support innovation.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong foundation in geospatial analysis, supported by a Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, IT, Environmental Science, or a related field. You will have at least four years of post-graduate experience working with GIS technologies, visualization software, or other relevant systems, and may also hold certifications that demonstrate your expertise.

Ideally, you will have relevant vocational qualifications, such as GIS certifications, and a proven track record of working collaboratively in fast-paced environments. You will thrive in situations where you can manage small teams, contribute to innovative solutions, and deliver results that exceed expectations.
