The Compliance Administrator will assist and support the Risk & Safety Department to administer all compliance records, track all documentation for safety sensitive positions, training records and certification to ensure all compliance processes are administered in timely manner. This includes maintaining recordkeeping, filing system, managing day-to-day activities associated with the compliance screening with general administration duties.

**Work Performed**
- Administrate all safety sensitive screening records scheduling of pre-employment and post incident testing, criminal records checks, collect/review all driver abstracts, licenses, testing/exams and qualifications verification of safety sensitive staff and new hires for approval;
- Set up and maintain safety sensitive staff files, training certifications, and track compliance reports to ensure department administration complies with National Safety Code legislation;
- Maintain training and incident recordkeeping systems;
- Assist Compliance & Investigations Supervisor with administrative reporting and filing of incident records and driver compliance files;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, statistics as required.
- Work with team of Safety & Risk Department with audits; track training and correspondence specific to training activities for licenses, violations and tickets
- Provide general administrative support to the Director Risk & Safety as required.

**Education/Work Experience**
- 2+ Years of Administration experience preferably in a transportation or logistic industries, or Safety Administration
- HSA-Health and Safety Administrator Certification an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver License;
- Experience working in fast paced records administration, with strong attention to detail;
- Working knowledge of records administration, screening processes; training records and systems.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code, National Safety Code (NSC) and Canada Labor Code Legislation;
- Knowledge of organization and job health and safety policies, rules and standards;
- Working knowledge of health and safety management systems;
- Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft office;
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.

**Skills**
- Strong organizational and written skills;
- Experience in professional writing of procedures, policies, safety training

material and reporting;
- Capable of multi-tasking and working to demanding deadlines;
- Capable of working independently.
- Ability to professionally communicate with all staff and management levels.

**Job Hazards: (General)**
- General office hazards occur with slipping, tripping and falling
- Ergonomic hazards, arm, neck, back and shoulder strain occur with improper set up of workstation/computer.
- Eye strain occurs with improper task lighting, or settings on computer screens
- Fire hazards can occur with electrical power cords, portable heaters, office and general kitchen common areas

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
