**What it’s all about**:
We are looking to hire a shipping supervisor to work with our team. The shipping receiving supervisor will be responsible for supervising shipping employees while actively participating to ensure that all customer orders are picked, packed, shipped, and received on time. The individual fit for this role needs to have strong attention to detail, organization, time management skills, and people skills.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Train workers in duties and policies.

2. Receives and examines incoming shipments as well as expedites shipments as required

3. Coordinate and participate with team members with all shipping and Receiving duties as required.

4. Maintains all files and records related to shipping operations.

5. Responsible for inventory, packing, and shipping supplies, and informs purchasing when resupply is needed.

6. Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures, paying particular attention to safety regulations.

7. Maintains cleanliness of shipping and warehouse areas to include storing materials in appropriate locations.

8. Works closely with QC department to ensure jobs ship on time.

9. Load and unload shipping trucks as required.

10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
