**Overview**

**Duties**
- Implement engaging curriculum tailored to individual student needs in reading and mathematics for grades K-12.
- Utilize advanced learning technology tools to enhance instruction and track student progress effectively.
- Conduct tutoring sessions with students across various age groups, including children and adolescents.
- Deliver individualized comprehensive lesson plans in a 3:1 student teacher ratios.
- Assess student understanding through formative and summative evaluations within the structure of the Sylvan programs.
- Foster a positive learning environment.

**Experience**
- Proven experience working with students in tutoring settings, demonstrating strong communication and instructional skills.
- Familiarity with the Alberta curriculum, especially for reading and mathematics.
- Proficiency in using technology for lesson delivery.
- Experience managing tutoring sessions that involve up to three students at one time.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for students with diverse needs while maintaining a motivating and energetic approach. Embark on a rewarding journey helping learners excel academically while developing essential skills for lifelong success

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
