BrainiaX Early Learning and Childcare is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Childcare Educator (Level 1, 2, or 3) to join our dynamic team at our Brainiax Daycare, located at Desrochers, Edmonton, AB. We are looking for passionate, caring, and reliable educators who are committed to providing high-quality care and early learning experiences for children in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment.

**Qualification**:

- Must have the certification in ELCC (level 1, 2 or 3).
- Must have 1 year’s experience in a daycare setting
- Must possess a valid CPR / First Aid certification and clear criminal record check.
- Knowledge of Flight Framework and Emergent curriculum is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lillio app is preferred.
- Energetic, and flexible with a strong work ethic.
- Strong communication skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provide a nurturing, inclusive, and safe environment where children feel secure, respected, and valued.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences that support children's development in areas such as language, cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
- Observe, document, and assess children’s progress and behaviour, and communicate observations with families and team members.
- Ensure the daily routines (snack/lunch times, naps, toileting, outdoor play) are carried out in a positive, consistent, and developmentally appropriate manner.
- Promote positive guidance techniques that support children’s self-regulation and problem-solving skills.
- Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
- Follow all licensing regulations and center policies to ensure the health and safety of all children.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan, implement, and evaluate programming according to the interests and needs of the children.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and continuous learning.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with families about their child’s day, development, and any concerns.
- Administer basic first aid as needed and respond calmly and effectively to emergency situations.
- Able to work flexible hours.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.50-$18.00 per hour
