Just Like Family Home Care South Edmonton is looking for top notch caregivers We love working with experienced Health Care Aides who LOVE to go above and beyond for their clients It is our mission to treat all clients like they are our own parents or grandparents. We are a private home care company - we provide care to our clients in their homes. Our minimum visit with each client is generally 3 hours, so this is NOT a homecare job where you spend your day driving from house to house for 30 minute visits. The needs of our clients range widely from personal care such as bathing to help with laundry and tidying the house, to companionship for those with dementia. It is important for you to be able to work independently. Your Registered Nurse manager is available by phone at all times if any questions do arise. If hired, you will be a "casual" employee. This means that we can not guarantee full time hours. Our caregivers work 4-40 hours per week, depending on their availability. The more flexibility in your schedule, the more opportunities you will have to accept shifts This job fits best for caregivers who have a flexible schedule and can be available on short notice. If you need to work full time hours every week, this job is not a good fit for you. We do have caregivers who work full time hours, however, we can not guarantee when your schedule will become full time (if you want it to). It depends on your availability, and on the new clients that are coming to our company. All caregivers are required to wear a clean mask at all times while in client homes and to wash or sanitize hands regularly.
