The employee will be responsible for covering for various positions as required mainly as a Machine Operator or Mixing Room Operator.

Schedule: Week 1 Monday / Tuesday / Saturday / Sunday

Week 2 Wednesday / Thursday / Friday

**Key activities**:

- Operate and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment (Sidel, Tetra).
- Perform inspection and machine operation (machine set up, change overs, adjustments, cleaning, monitoring, quality checks, handling materials according to standard operating procedures, etc.).
- Set up equipment and mechanical for daily production.
- Load recipes and make corrections to volumes.
- Feed machinery and equipment with required raw materials.
- Conduct required machine cleaning and sanitation (as required).
- Troubleshoot machinery when product quality deficiencies appear or when machinery otherwise malfunctions.
- Maintain processes and record all data using computerized system (cycles, frequency, downtime, faults, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards for employee safety, product quality, cost control and waste reduction.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment to uphold workplace/food safety.
- Prepare juice according to product formulation and customer specifications.
- Operate all mixing room equipment in our continuous production/processing operation of juice.
- Monitor meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, etc.
- Follow production process specifications and/or lab instructions in the preparation of juice.
- Make minor adjustments to equipment (as required).
- Follow cleaning list and CIP procedures (weekly).
- Follow batching procedures and sign off.
- Ensures batched product is checked by Quality Control prior to releasing.
- Responsible for tank inspection and sign off.
- Receive bulk ingredients (Sugar/OJ Concentrate/NFC Cranberry/NFC Apple, etc.).
- Inspect/replace carbon filters (monthly).
- Organize ingredients into designated areas.
- Assist in inventory counts (monthly).
- Advises appropriate personnel regarding inventory and ordering requirements of mixing room ingredients.

**Required training and experience**:

- High school diploma (essential).
- Previous work experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry (an asset).

**Skills sought**:

- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Quick learner and ability to adapt easily to change.
- Ability to multi-task, stand for long periods of time and experience working in a fast paced environment with repetitive tasks.
