**Overview**

Live in care aide/support worker needed.

1 room for rent plus unique employment opportunity.

Fully furnished other than your bedroom though there is a single bed available. 865 sq ft penthouse apartment in the prime Railside building on Goldstream.
Floor to ceiling windows, hardwood floors, two bathrooms with a room for rent.

Close to amenities, transit and Royal Roads University. Walking distance from shops. Great location.

Rent is $1000 all inclusive.

Would you be interested and available in working a minimum of 40 hours and a maximum of 48 hours per week here with me?

Shifts are from 10am to 6pm,and 6pm to 2am. I rarely need assistance during the night but require my live in to be here in case of emergency. The compensation is $27/hr with an additional $50 per pay period for the occasional night time assistance.

My care during these hours includes the following typically:

- prepare, serve and feed dinner
- light housekeeping
- diabetic management
- transcription of my day to day work ; songwriting, team communications, general administration
- assistance with transfer to and from bed
- personal hygiene
- dressing/un dressing

Caregiving experience is an asset but not necessary as I am willing to train. This is a perfect opportunity for artists and art students because I do at least three hours of writing per night when I don’t need assistance.
