**Responsibilities**:

- Follow all safety protocols.
- Production floor organizing and cleaning
- Demonstrate awareness of proper production health & safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety regulations
- Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority
- Assure the daily and weekly production schedule is adhered to
- Willing to learn new things and take initiative to ask questions
- Perform other duties and elemental activities
- Follow all production procedures as instructed
- Maintain accurate records of daily production
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance

Job Requirements:

- You communicate well with others and like to work as part of a team
- You have a good understanding of English, including verbal, written, and reading skills
- Your basic math and problem-solving skills are good, and you pride yourself on the details
- You want to learn how to use new tools and equipment and are comfortable working in a plastics manufacturing plant environment
- You can work variable hours including overtime and weekends as needed
- You are able to lift up to 50lbs., with bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks
- You have your own transportation as public transit is not available

- Participate in the company safety culture by attending tail gate meetings and other such activities as required
- Demonstrate team playing attitude, must be punctual and proficient in spoken English
- Must be punctual, dependable and reliable.

**Additional information**:

- Training provided on the job
- Previous work experience as a manufacturing associate/labourer an asset
- Must own safety steel toed boots

**Working Conditions**:

- Workdays are Monday to Friday, starting at 6:30 am until 3:00 pm, for 8 hours minimum. Alternate shift is 2:30pm to 11:00pm
- May be required to work overtime
- Repetitive tasks

- Frequent exposure to excessive noise, dirt and other possible dangers
- Fast paced environment, attention to details an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
