At Tiger Tool, we are committed to manufacturing high-quality tools that help technicians get the job done right. We are currently seeking a Tool Room Attendant/CNC Machinist to join our Production Team. The Tool Room Attendant / CNC Machinist is responsible for maintaining the organization of the tool room, preparing tooling for upcoming jobs, and setting up and running production jobs on mills, lathes, and/or mill/turns.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Tool Room Attendant Duties**:

- Organize, inventory, and maintain all tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and related equipment.
- Ensure timely availability of tools and materials required for production and machining.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and calibration of tools.
- Track tool usage and manage reordering or regrinding of tools as needed.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to meet tooling demands.
- Receive, store and prepare raw materials for upcoming production runs.

**CNC Machinist Duties**:

- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) to produce high-precision components.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feeds as needed to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the machining area.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in machining is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a machining environment.
- Proficiency with CNC machine setup and operation.
- Understanding of tool room operations and tooling systems.
- Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
- Basic knowledge of G-code programming is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for long periods in a manufacturing environment is required.

Pay: $34.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
