Lunch Chef

**Job Title**: Chef

**Job purpose**:This position’s primary responsibility is to plan, prepare and cook healthy lunches for the Lethbridge lunch program employees

**Key Result Areas**
- Cook quality lunches on time five days per week

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Purchase additional kitchen tools as required
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen area including washing and putting away dishes
- Plan and purchase meal ingredients for five lunches per week for 20-30 employees
- Plan ahead and provide weekly menus
- Cook a healthy lunch five days per week. Menu should be varied and creative, with no recipes repeated in a 1-week span
- Accommodate dietary restrictions (currently x2 gluten free, others may arise)
- Approximate 30hrs per week

- A strong skill set and experience in food preparation and culinary training, certification is an asset.
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to take initiative to identify tasks and do them with mínimal supervision
