**About This Opportunity**

**The Specialist, Member Communications will**:

- Imagine, design and create compelling visuals and copy to engage target audiences with clear calls to action
- Capitalize on strong knowledge and understanding of GGC’s mission and programs to effectively communicate the organization’s value proposition to audiences
- Understand the needs of members, parents and volunteers to offer the clearest, most compelling messaging and ensure that the best communications channels are used
- Collaborate with other members of the Marketing and Communications team and provincial volunteers to deliver world class products
- Post-secondary education Degree or Diploma in Communications, Marketing or related discipline
- Skills in Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign - on a PC environment
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, which includes the ability to transform information into clear, engaging communication across a variety of audiences
- Adaptable, flexible and diplomatic with a degree of comfort to change in projects and priorities.
- Adept at working collaboratively across a range of teams, including the ability to work with colleagues in remote offices
- Excellent time management skills and can work independently, managing multiple projects with different stakeholders

**Additional assets**
- Experience working in a non-profit or volunteer environment
- French language skills/fluency (and any other language spoken in Canada)
- Comfort with basic HTML

Starting Salary: *$55, 231

*Salary based location, Greater Toronto Area
