We have one of the largest email databases in the industry - and we send a lot of emails. We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to help with the daily, hands-on execution of email marketing programs, specifically to support our B2C digital and in-person events.

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for:

• Partnering with the Email Marketing Manager to develop email marketing strategies, campaigns, and interest-based segmentation; drive elevated levels of engagement with our event offering
• The day-to-day execution of our events-related email marketing strategy, including email design, email builds, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment in alignment with our campaign calendar
• Partnering to grow our email database and ensuring a high quality, engaged audience
• Measuring and reporting on performance; monitoring and analyzing overall engagement data and list health to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
• Build and manage automated email workflows in HubSpot to nurture leads and drive event registrations
• Maintaining a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applying them to the execution of our email campaigns

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in marketing, or related field
• 1+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the financial industry but not necessary
• Experience with HTML and content management systems
• Expertise with engagement platforms such as HubSpot – and internal collaboration tools (Google suite, Asana)
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with CAN-SPAM and other email marketing regulations
• Ability to manage cross-functional relationships
• Learn quickly in a fast-paced environment

This role is hybrid (2-3 days in the office/week) - based in New York City, NY.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000/yr
