**About the role**:Under direction of the Residential Coordinator and Team Lead, a case worker at ADS provides male identifying youth, regardless of their complexities and challenges, an opportunity to access safe accommodations and utilize intensive on-site supports to assist with their life goals. This program strives to contribute to a reduction in the number of individuals using homeless shelters or living on the street, as well as to intervene with justice-involved and at-risk youth to decrease their risk for future offending and other problematic behaviours.
- Two years of experience in a leadership and/or management role in the homelessness and supportive housing sector
- Bilingual English & French
- Knowledge of the Housing First approach to homelessness, Y-SPDAT Assessment, and Case Works
- Understanding of and experience working with clients that struggle with homelessness, addictions, aggression, criminality, mental health issues
- Ability to coordinate all on-site program-related functions through a gender and trauma-responsive framework
- Experience working with counselling reluctant/court-ordered youth

- Be on-call for program serious incident occurrences
- Work collaboratively within ADS and with external collaterals
- Have ownership of a vehicle and/or ability to be mobile to accommodate meetings in the community and internally at JHS sites
