We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft Finance - GL Technical Consultant to join our team in Toronto, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical consulting services for PeopleSoft Finance implementations, with a focus on the General Ledger (GL) module. You will work closely with clients to design, develop, and implement customized solutions that meet their specific financial management needs.
- Analyze client requirements and design technical solutions for PeopleSoft Finance GL implementations
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries and PeopleSoft queries to support financial reporting and analysis
- Implement and configure nVision reports and SQR processes for financial data extraction and reporting
- Design and develop integrations between PeopleSoft Finance and other systems using Integration Broker and Web Services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to PeopleSoft Finance GL module
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business requirements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PeopleSoft Finance updates and best practices

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft Finance implementations, with a strong focus on the GL module
- In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Finance architecture and PeopleTools
- Proficiency in SQL, PeopleSoft Query, Application Engine, nVision, and SQR
- Experience with PeopleSoft integration tools such as Integration Broker and Web Services
- Strong understanding of financial processes and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Demonstrated experience in full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members
- PeopleSoft Financial Management certification is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
