The Project Manager (FF/FCW) will be an employee of the South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre (SLNRC). Day-to-day supervision/consultation will be provided by the Executive Director in the form of formal supervision meetings as well as informal support as requested.
**Commitment**:
**Salary**: $35/hr
Hours: Days, Nights & Weekends based on need
Week: 37.5 hrs/ week
**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Duties**:
The Project Manager will lead the successful Management of the Community Action Program for
Children (CAPC) Families First Project and the overall Operations of the Family Centre
**A. Lead Families First**
- Management of all CAPC-Families First Project
- Seek opportunity to collaborate with other Ontario CAPC/CPNP projects across
Southwestern Ontario through CAPC/CPNP Southwest Zone meeting
- Maintain ties with PHAC co-ordinator
- Program plan and advocate for all CAPC participants in-line with the goals of CAPC
- Establish and maintain Community Partnerships that build awareness of Families First-CAPC programs and that enhance community participation
- Develop and promote all Families First
- CAPC programs in White Oaks and Westminster communities
- In-depth understanding of Basic Needs programs in the community and integrate connections that can support the lives of CAPC participants
- Look for opportunities to leverage in-kind donations that support the delivery of CAPC programs and enhance the core funding
- Maintain supplies and equipment at the Parent/Child Resource Room at SLNRC
- Ensure a flow of usage of space for Families First CAPC-programs and partners programs in the Parent/Child Resource Room at SLNRC.
- Ensure partner agencies are integrated into our community development holistic integration of support for families.
- Manage all data collection for Families First-CAPC and communicate information for the purpose of the agencies AGM and annual report which is shared with funders and the public.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director **.**
**B. Lead Family Centre Westminster**
- Oversee EarlyON Co-ordinator’s management of all EarlyON Programs at Family Centre Westminster and its catchment area
- Maintain all appropriate supplies and equipment for Family Centre Westminster
- Ensure a flow of usage of space for EarlyON programs and partners programs at Family Centre Westminster
- Ensure programs and services reach the full catchment area of Family Centre Westminster
- Manage all data collection based FCSS system approach & EarlyON Provincial standards to meet the funders requirement
- Lead or attend all meetings that affect the operations of Family Centre Westminster and EarlyON funded system
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
**C. Staff Management**
- Hire and supervise the EarlyON Co-ordinator for Family Centre Westminster
- Hire and supervise all Families First staff
- Ensure that every employee is treated fairly and that the policies and procedures of the agency is followed by all employees under your supervision.
- Coordinate professional development opportunities for all staff. Follow CAPC/CPNP Network News and EarlyON system news through City of London as well as Strive for access to many PD opportunities.
**D. Financial Management & Leadership responsibilities**
- Maintain the financial management of Families First, Family Centre Westminster & the EarlyON system as set out by the funders
- Maintain staff payroll requirements as directed from agency Finance Manager
- Participate in Leadership meetings for the agency and integrate division services into a holistic agency community development approach to participant support.
- Ensure regular reports are submitted to Executive Director (Monthly Board reports, quarterly data reports, Annual reports, AGM reports, financial reports, Leads meeting reports etc.)
- Co-ordinate with the Manager of Finances to support completion of all financial reports.
- All other duties as deemed necessary by the Executive Director
**Skills Ability**
- Extensive knowledge of Infant, Toddler and Child development
- Understand the pedagogical document “How Does Learning Happen?”
- Understand the strong benefits to community participation with a community development lens
- Ability to work with diverse groups in a collaborative manner
- Understand the complex needs of vulnerable families in the community
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
- Good understanding of community resources; challenges and opportunities as it relates to the not-for-profit sector
**Job Expectations**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with report writing and maintaining statistics
