**Project Manager (Payment Processing)**

Our reputable client has an immediate requirement for a Project Manager with experience in handling Software development projects involving intensive Payment Processing and FinTech Projects involving EFT Switching, RTGS, ACH, and Payment Solutions.

**Location**: Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Vancouver, or other suitable locations

**Work environment**: Remote in Eastern Timezone

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all aspects of implementation projects from initiation through delivery
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with the engineering development teams, test groups, planning teams, and overall program management
- The primary point of contact for projects both internally and with the client
- Coordinate tasks among project team members, internal cross-functional teams, and clients to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule, on budget, and of a high-quality standard
- Actively manage project risks, issues, and tracking of activities to ensure project goals are achieved
- Assist with problem resolution and risk mitigation as issues arise
- Set clear expectations and build high morale among team members
- Enforce governance processes, such as change control, issue control, and escalation procedures
- Present project status and decision-seeking presentations at Project-level and Steering-level meetings
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with client counterparts and client stakeholders
- Conduct project initiation and project closure activities
- Maintain project artifacts
- Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives
- Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
- Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy
- Develops all related project management artifacts, while complying with applicable enterprise standards
- Leads and/or represents the project in project team meetings, governance forums, and inter-department forums

**Experience and Qualification**:

- 7-10 years of relevant Project Management experience with a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working experience with Agile and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies
- Recent project management experience in payment processing and FinTech domain
- Recent experience with Merchant Services in payments technology is beneficial
- Proven experience project managing large-scale software implementation projects in; the financial service industry
- Project management experience - 3 to 6 years
- Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
- Demonstrated excellence in the use of project management software and artifacts to manage projects, e.g., MS Project, project repository, ticketing systems, risk and issues logs
