**About Us**:Our team makes up the largest Speech Therapy network in Ontario For more than 15 years, the Speech Associates has been proudly providing in-home and virtual Speech and ABA therapy to clients of all ages and care needs across the province. Speech Associates contracts over 100 clinicians including Speech Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists, ABA Therapists, and Registered Behaviour Analysts. Our Therapists work via virtual, hybrid, and in-person traveling options, while our Administrative Staff proudly support and facilitate the provision of care.

**About the role**:This role offers the chance to travel to remote First Nations communities outside of Thunder Bay. There you will provide in-person speech therapy services to children with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders. Some of these may include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Travel and lodging costs are fully covered by our organization, and you will receive a per diem to support meal expenses.

Travel and lodging itineraries will be prepared by our administrative team SLPs will be paid a flat rate per day and provided with a per diem to support meal costs. A clinic room will be designated to the SLP and client referrals and lists will be provided to all providers. Clinical Hours approximately: 8:30 a.m - 4:30p.m

**Qualifications
- What are we looking for**:

- MSc in Speech-Language Pathology
- Registration with CASLPO / Eligibility to register with CASLPO
- Must be willing to travel once or twice per month (weekly stay)
- 4+ year(s) of previous experience working with clients in a Speech-Language Pathology capacity.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to problem solve, work independently, and self-monitor
- Interest and experience working with the paediatric population, including children on the spectrum
- A passion for helping students with their communication goals

**Assets**:

- Previous experience with Indigenous population
- Experience with SOAP documentation via Alayacare or similar software.
- Comfortable working in a travel-based environment

**Position Details**:
**Job Type**: once (or twice) a month for a duration of one week (Monday to Friday)

Pay: flat rate per day $800

Start Date: January 2025
