We are currently seeking to fill a full-time field position in the Materials Testing Laboratory at our **Calgary **office.

The job will consist of conducting in-field testing and engineering reviews on active construction sites, in-lab concrete, asphalt and soil testing, and preparing reports in Microsoft Word and Excel. The position will include working closely with the company's engineering staff and management group to complete testing and reports accurately and on time.

The successful applicant will be trained in various concrete and soil testing as required and may be expected to travel to Edmonton and other Albertan locations from time to time (no long-term travel is expected). Some physical work should also be anticipated - the applicant will be expected to lift and carry equipment and materials samples (including buckets of soil) from onsite to their vehicle.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

- Civil Engineering Diploma or other science-related education.
- Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle
- Familiarity with sieve analysis and proctor testing is preferred (but not required).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year

- concrete testing: 1 year (preferred)
