**Bilingual Claims Adjuster**

The ARAG Group, a global leader in legal expense insurance operating in 20 countries offers an innovative and comprehensive range of legal expense products and services for brokers, underwriting agents and insurers across Canada.

As part of our strategy to expand and strengthen our presence across Canada, we are looking for an energetic and creative person to join us as a **Bilingual Claims Adjuster in Toronto or the province of Quebec.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate new claims and potential claims and manage workloads including the conduct of any in-housework.
- Participate hands-on in the resolution of complex claims and coverage issues.
- Deliver training on products, risk management presentations and advice to lawyers and firms.
- Monitor outsourced claims to ensure quality assurance and that excellent client service is achieved and maintained.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with external lawyers.
- Assist with various accounting functions as assigned.
- Assist in the development, implementation and administration of claims management policies, procedures, and systems that will maintain the company's success as a continually evolving, high-functioning claims handling service.

**Skills**:

- Fluently Bilingual in French & English
- Must be licensed with the AMF as a Claims Adjuster in the Province of Quebec
- Ability to evaluate and assist in the successful resolution of litigation claims
- Experience in claims adjusting, including some experience in insurance litigation

**Expert en sinistres bilingue**

Conformément à notre stratégie d’expansion et de renforcement de notre présence au Canada, nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne dynamique et créative pour occuper le poste **d’expert en sinistres bilingue à Toronto ou la province de Québec.**

**Responsabilités**:

- Évaluer les nouveaux sinistres et les sinistres potentiels et gérer la charge de travail et l’exécution de travaux à l’interne.
- Participer activement à la résolution de sinistres complexes et de problèmes de couverture.
- Donner de la formation sur les produits, des présentations sur la gestion des risques et des conseils à des avocats et à des cabinets.
- Faire le suivi des sinistres gérés en sous-traitance aux fins d’assurance qualité et veiller à l’excellence du service à la clientèle en tout temps.
- Développer et maintenir des relations efficaces avec des avocats à l’externe.
- Soutenir au besoin diverses fonctions comptables.
- Contribuer à l’élaboration, à la mise en œuvre et à la gestion des politiques, procédures et systèmes de gestion des sinistres pour que DAS demeure un service de gestion des sinistres hautement efficace et en constante adaptation.

**Compétences**:

- Personne parfaitement bilingue (français et anglais)
- Permis d’expert en sinistres au Québec
- Capacité d’évaluer et de soutenir la résolution efficace de réclamations en litige complexes.
- Expérience en règlement de sinistres, dont une certaine expérience en litiges en matière d’assurance.
