Check out our culture guide to learn more about what it's like to work at Bench and read more about our business here **What does joining the Product team look like?** The "Core Business" team at Bench is responsible for building software that empowers us to serve our small business clients with more efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy while raising our super-high customer satisfaction scores. While you will be responsible for the rollout and adoption of new software products, you will also have a firm grasp of the Bench service offering as a whole. The Product Operations Specialist will lead product feedback collection, launches, and assist in developing a roadmap of the core business product + service features at Bench. This is a highly visible role with a lot of autonomy and a great opportunity to launch products with pent-up demand. **What you'll be getting up to**: - Work closely with the Engineering and Product Management teams to bring new features to Bench clients and frontline Benchmates - Work closely with stakeholders across Bench to align cross functional teams on common goals/outcomes - Develop product rollout plans and timelines, and ensure these timelines are met - Develop and deliver training materials to effectively prepare all stakeholders for product launches - Facilitate software testing across engineering and frontline teams - Develop and maintain feedback collection processes, transform feedback into meaningful problems to solve, and prioritize them against the roadmap - Coordinate the creation and maintenance of tracking metrics and/or mechanisms - Collaborate with frontline teams to update product documentation **To be successful in this role, you'll need to have**: - A minimum of 2 years experience working in a technology organization supporting project or product management activities.. - A demonstrable drive to grow. They will have to earn the trust of varying stakeholders and come to conversations ready to propose and/or take a stand regarding the best solutions for the largest % of affected individuals. **Organization and time management skills** **Adaptability and multitasking skills in fast paced environments** - This is required because new information is consistently uncovered throughout a project lifecycle necessitating rollout plans and stakeholders expectations must be realigned accordingly. **Demonstrated ability to think systematically** **Bias for action and delivering results**: **It could be an even better fit if you**: - **A demonstrated track record of successful product launches.** - **Adeptness at discussing solutions to complex problems with engineers.**- While a high degree of technical knowledge is not necessarily required for this position, being able to effectively communicate and relate to the product engineering team assigned to each product build is a big value-add and efficiency gain. **What you'll get**: - At Bench we share information freely and openly whenever possible.
