**Position Summary**:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a cashier at our greenhouse. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Prior retail experience is considered an asset
- Interest in plants or gardening is a plus, but not required

Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register

Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to walk, stand, lift, twist, carry (up to 25lbs) and reach for an extended period of time

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service with a positive attitude
- Is able to maintain some knowledge about various plants including an assortment of annuals and perennials
- Prioritizes delivering an exceptional customer experience and always places our customer first
- Operate the cash register, accurately process transactions, and handle cash and card payments
- Assist customers with product inquiries and make recommendations based on their needs
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a welcoming environment
- Help maintain a safe and orderly store environment, including ensuring displays are well-organized and replenished
- Celebrates and embraces individuality, inclusion and partnership; builds relationships and seeks out feedback for continuous self-development
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety and security measures

**Job Type**: Full-Time
