Hours of care vary, offering flexibility in scheduling. This is a **Casual** position. The role may include varied shifts, such as nights, weekends, and overnights, across different work sites. Flexibility in working shorter shifts (2-4 hours) and caring for multiple clients per day is essential. **Job Overview** **Services Include**: - Personal care - Meal preparation - Escort services - Light housekeeping - Companionship - Other tasks as outlined in the client’s care plan **Experience** - Previous experience in a similar role is an asset - Health Care Aide Diploma or Home Support Worker Diploma preferred **Work Requirements** - Effective communication skills with clients and their families - Ability to work across multiple locations (Valid BC Driver’s License and own vehicle required, including a Driver Factor Report) - Two professional references - Clear criminal record check - COVID-19 immunization record - Recent TB shots/immunization record - Medication Administration Certificate - Food Safe BC Certificate - CPR/First Aid Certificate - WHMIS Certificate **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** CaringTouch is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.
