**Mechanical Technician**

**JOB SUMMARY**

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the general servicing and maintenance of various equipment, tools, and accessories.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Test, inspect, diagnose, and repair industry-related equipment/accessories.
- Perform weekly/monthly maintenance of grouting equipment, fleet vehicles/trailers, and other general tools & accessories.
- Assist with mobilizing, demobilizing required materials and equipment for job sites.
- Organize, clean & maintain warehouse, service yard, and workspace.
- Perform other warehouse, property, and building maintenance duties as required.

**YOU PROVIDE**
- Post-secondary education
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a service technician
- General knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- General knowledge of pumps, valves, motors, gas cylinders and air compressors
- Ability to maintain records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Versatility - demands change frequently according to customers’ priorities
- Ability to lift heavy loads (40 kg)
- Safety-focused attitude and behaviour
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility to work either inside or outside as required
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team environment
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
