**Location**: Brentwood Care Centre

**Position Type**: Part time permanent and temporary

**Salary**: $20.32 per hour

**Shift**:Days and Evenings

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the provision of personal care to Residents
- Utilize the Resident’s Care Plan to provide individualized care
- Promotes the physical, intellectual, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual well-being of residents and families
- Complies with policies, procedures, and work routines
- Ensures a safe and clean work environment
- Works in partnership with other individuals and departments to promote customer service for residents, guests, and employees

**Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements**
- **Health Care Aide certificate as per provincial curriculum**:

- **Must be registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide directory**:

- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Brings a caring, compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Mentally and physically able to complete duties as outlined above
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrates concern and interest in providing a safe and attractive environment for facility customers
- Demonstrates effective communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to function as an effective team member with other staff, residents, families, and the public

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
