**About the Role**
The Etcetera Group Facilitator is responsible for developing community-based group support activities with youth, age 11 to 18, who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+. The incumbent works closely with youth, health and social service organizations to develop activities that address the needs of youth.
**Position**:Part Time - 6 hours per week. Thursday Evening Availability is required.
**Wages**:$22.73-$26.47 Youth peer/no completed educational qualifications
$24.28-$28.29 Completion of Relevant Diploma Program
$32.24-$37.59 Completion of Relevant Degree Program
- Evening shift premium - additional $3.50 per hour between 1900hr-0700hr
**Qualifications**
- Education & Experience_
- Degree or Diploma in health or social sciences
- Experience working with youth who identify as 2SLGBTQIA+
- Training and experience in providing education and support in a group format.
- Experience working cooperatively with a variety of community agencies preferably in the Central Okanagan communities.
- Skills_
- Demonstrated ability to work with a broad cross section of people and groups with a strength-based, capacity-building approach
- Demonstrated interest in working in a team setting with other staff, community agencies and volunteers.
- Strong commitment to youth and family needs, in particular for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
- Demonstrated ability to update social media (primarily Instagram and Facebook) as needed with current program information and updates.
- Additional Requirements_
- Criminal record check in accordance with agency policy
- Valid First Aid certificate (preferred)
- Proof of Covid 19 vaccination or exemption
- Personal transportation is required.

Pay: $22.73-$37.59 per hour
Expected hours: 6 per week

- Kelowna, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
