**JOB SUMMARY**:
The Sales Planner will have primary responsibility for the administration of the sales planning process. Duties will include a direct interface with Sales, Pricing, Customer Service, Operation Planning, Operations, and Finance departments to provide Customer Forecasts, Warehouse Inventory Requirements. Open Orders, Past Due Orders and Future Dated orders. The overall goal is to increase the Dixie Customer Experience.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to**:

- Monitor all Dixie Location Inventories and make recommendations.
- Provide Weekly reports on Fill Rate, Stock Outs.
- Manage the Top 50 Recommendations for Inventory by location.
- Create and maintain new product stocking recommendations along with dummy order follow up.
- Work with customer service team to monitor open orders/future dated and back orders.
- Analyze Private Label forecasts vs prior sales for recommendations or dummy orders to be placed.
- Work with Product Team for new part number launches and inventory recommendations.
- Analyze slow moving inventory for centralization and reduction actions.
- Create and File work instructions.
- Manage dummy orders.
- Reviewing customer sales, returns and/or warranty rates.
- Finding solutions to activities, processes to improve efficiency.
- Aid in development of annual budget
- Other duties as assigned by the VP Sales

**SKILLS / ABILITIES / REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Bi-Lingual - English/French is preferred but not essential.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Note: Must have advanced capabilities in Pivot Table and Lookup.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Educational background, preferably Bachelors Degree in Management/Sales/Management and/or 2-4 years proven work experience.
- Experience in Automotive HD Aftermarket is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree: Management/Marketing, or equivalent; and/or Minimum 2-4 years of experience in sales/marketing

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
