Tenova Goodfellow Inc. (TGI) is seeking an **HR Coordinator
- Internship or Co-op**.

This is part or full time, 12-month term internship/co-op. Possible hybrid schedule, and able to commute to Mississauga office and occasionally to Hamilton plant.

TGI is part of a global organization that supplies advanced technologies, products, and services to the metal and mining industries. As a world leader in providing advanced process control technologies, TGI focuses on improving energy efficiency in combustion intensive processes by using its proprietary extractive & optical sensor technology developed in co-operation with its strategic partners.

**The key responsibilities for the HR Coordinator include**:

- Assist HR Manager with ongoing HR projects and initiatives and support on all administrative tasks
- Revamp onboarding and new hire orientation
- Responsible for keeping up to date employee information
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Collaborate in training initiatives, events, recognition ideas, etc.
- Support H&S activities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field
- Additional HR training or experience is a plus
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ethics
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, HRIS systems.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 37.50 per week
