**Job Title**:Program Director **Reports to** the ANHN Council **Job Summary**:The Program Director is responsible for the overall management, development, and success of programs within the organization. This includes the design, planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs aligned with the organization’s mission and strategic goals. The Program Director works closely with staff, stakeholders, and partners to ensure programs deliver high-quality outcomes and meet the needs of the community or population served. **Key Responsibilities**: **1. Program Development & Management**: - Lead the development, planning, and execution of programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. - Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of programs, making adjustments as needed. - Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial resources are effectively utilized. - Identify areas for program growth and innovation. **2. Staff Leadership & Supervision**: - Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate program staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment. - Provide ongoing coaching and support to staff to ensure successful program delivery. - Foster professional development opportunities for team members. **3. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration**: - Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, funders, and key stakeholders. - Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure program success and sustainability. - Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and public events. **4. Grant Management & Fundraising Support**: - Assist in identifying funding opportunities and support grant writing efforts for program funding. - Ensure program compliance with grant and funder requirements, providing regular reports and updates. **5. Data & Reporting**: - Collect and analyze program data to measure outcomes and impact. - Prepare and submit reports to funders, board members, and other stakeholders, highlighting program achievements and challenges. - Utilize data for continuous improvement of program effectiveness. **6. Strategic Planning**: - Contribute to the organization’s strategic planning process, aligning programs with long-term goals. - Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and expansion of programs. **7. Risk Management & Compliance**: - Ensure all programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. - Identify and mitigate risks related to program delivery, maintaining safety and quality standards. **8. Community Outreach & Advocacy**: - Lead community outreach efforts to raise awareness of the organization’s programs and services. - Advocate on behalf of the populations served, addressing their needs and ensuring inclusive programming. **Qualifications**: **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, education, public health, nonprofit management) or a minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, including staff supervision and budget oversight, preferably in the nonprofit sector. **Skills**: - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Proficiency in data analysis and program evaluation. - Knowledge of relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and other computer programs for project management, budgeting, and reporting. - Familiarity with cloud-based tools, databases, and software systems to manage program data and communication. **Working Conditions**: - Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings. - Occasional travel may be required for site visits or conferences. **Salary & Benefits**: Compensation is commensurate with experience.
