**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods over long distances.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and other necessary documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Perform basic maintenance on the vehicle as needed, including minor repairs or adjustments.

**Skills**
- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
