**Proudly constructing the Valley Line West LRT**

The City of Edmonton selected Marigold Infrastructure Partners to design and build the 14-kilometre Valley Line West LRT project from downtown to Lewis Farms. Construction has begun and will take five to six years to complete.

Marigold is a design-build joint venture agreement between Colas and Parsons.

The Subcontracts Administrator/ Claims will assist the administration of the project subcontract portfolio valued at +$500 million.

**Essential**:

- Superior organizational skills, Excel and attention to detail.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in administration, business, construction management or related field
- Ability to read, interpret and know contracts in detail, ensure compliance and alert relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to work in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (this position is not remote or rotationally based)

**Preferred**
- Subcontract administration experience with JV Contractors, P3 or public infrastructure projects.
- Administration of third-party Design Agreements
- Experience using JD Edwards and Aconex
- Understanding of trades and subtrades (i.e. electrical, concrete, civil,) and ability to converse with all levels of project staff in assigned area of responsibility

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the procurement, design, technical and construction teams to process all changes to contracts, and alert relevant stakeholders of changes.
- Organize, read, and interpret contracts and subcontracts in assigned area.
- Compile subcontract reports as required by project management
- Maintain records of Subcontractor claims and off-sets for project forecasting
- Draft, track and administer subcontract correspondence using Aconex
- Monitor notice and response timelines, and coordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders as required.
- Administer change interfaces with key designers and subcontractors
- Follow up and close out any outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- Assist subcontracts team with administrative duties as needed

- Ability to take concise meeting notes and ensure follow up tasks are completed by assigned persons and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail while retaining the ability to see the bigger picture
- Works well with others on all levels of a project’s organizational structure.
