We are currently looking for a **Proposal Specialist** to join our team in Etobicoke, On.

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the **Proposal Specialist** will provide support with the management and production of all proposal responses, including Expressions of Interest (EOI), Request for Qualification (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP).

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in the pursuit of leads and opportunities leading to new business.
- Understand and review requests for proposals, in order to help develop themes for the response document.
- Assist in writing, editing, proofreading and project managing proposal submissions.
- Review proposal documents and standard firm content to ensure published materials meet BDA formatting styles and that brand guidelines are adhered to.
- Work closely with the BDA team to finalize documents and coordinate final document production.
- Assist with miscellaneous BD assignments.

**Business Hours**: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

**Location**: Etobicoke, On

**Reports to**: Director of Business Development

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Technical Writing, Marketing, Communications, Business or Journalism. Engineering/Construction knowledge an asset.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of Canadian professional work experience in a proposal writer and/or professional business writing capacity, including experience managing and developing corporate proposals. Previous experience in a construction firm an asset.
- Excellence in proposal writing and preparation, with experience writing technical content without the use of AI.
- Strong reading comprehension skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, in English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong coordination skills.
- Experience managing time in a fast-paced work environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities.
