Interspan Electrical is a Toronto/Concord based electrical supply company with affiliates throughout Canada and the United States. We are looking for a customer friendly, enthusiastic, and highly organized customer service representative to join our team. If you are looking for stable, full-time position in a productive working environment, then you may be a great fit for us.

Interspan is focused on the supply of products to resellers of electrical equipment across North America. We are recognized as a service leader in our industry through our ability to respond quickly to all customer inquiries, to providing on time deliveries that are accurate, and to making it easy for our customers to deal with us. We are a small, dedicated team and all our team members do whatever is necessary to meet our customer’s expectations.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

- Order processing with a high degree of accuracy.
- Responding to customer inquiries of all types
- Providing quotations to customers upon request
- Preparing customs and shipping documents.
- Confirming shipped orders for invoicing
- Performing various office duties.
- Working closely with warehouse staff to ensure on time deliveries
- Supporting the sales effort through contacts with customers

**Required**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of business or office administration considered an asset
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn industry-specific software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including spoken and written fluency in English
- Exceptional attention to detail, including with repetitive tasks
- Excellent organization skills
- Energetic, upbeat, professional attitude
- Capacity to function successfully within a team environment
- Ability to prioritize in an environment with competing tasks (e.g., interruptions to data entry to take and triage phone calls)
- Self-motivated
- Punctuality
- Insatiable desire to learn, grow, and flourish within a fast-paced environment

**Business hours**: M-F, 9 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with 30 minutes for lunch

**Compensation**:
Customer Service Representative $40,000 - $50,000 salary (+/-, based on experience), employee benefits program

**Job Type**: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON L4K3W7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Sales: 1 year (preferred)
- electrical industry: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)
- Inside sales: 1 year (preferred)
